Philippines in lockdown as health workers struggle

Government imposes some of the strictest restrictions in Southeast Asia, with more than half of the country’s population ordered to stay home.

The Philippines has reported another death linked to the coronavirus as the country locks down to try to stop its further spread.

More than half the country’s population has been ordered to stay home and the capital has been blocked off.

But it is proving a challenge for frontline health workers.
