Libya conflict: Heavy shelling around Tripoli’s Mitiga airport

Residents are in limbo, fearing for their lives and angry at the UN for not doing more to help.

Heavy shelling in Libya‘s capital has forced residents of the neighbourhoods around Mitiga airport to live a suspended life.

This is the latest round of fighting after talks at the UN failed to reach an agreement.

Many Libyans from both sides of the conflict are angry at the UN, saying that it has not done enough to help.
