French oil giant Total faces lawsuit over violations in Uganda
Could Total be held to account for actions in western Uganda?
A French court is due to decide whether oil giant Total is addressing the human and environmental impact of an oilfield in Uganda.
The case was brought by several human rights groups who accuse the firm of failing to properly compensate farmers removed from their land.
