Haiti protests: Anger over killings by armed gangs

Haiti has long been a fragile nation, where most people live on less than $2 a day.

Police in Haiti have placed the nation on alert after a series of gang-related killings.

Gangs are allegedly targeting anyone that criticises the government.

Protesters have accused the president of being complicit in the murders, an accusation he denies.
