The gunman behind New Zealand’s worst mass shooting, Brenton Tarrant, has faced survivors and relatives on the third day of his sentencing hearing.

Tarrant killed 51 Muslim worshippers in a rampage he carried out in Christchurch last year and livestreamed on Facebook.

He is likely to be given life without parole.
