Turkey’s seasonal workers face lower wages and extra competition

Farm labourers in Turkey are facing extra competition and lower wages because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of thousands of them rely on farm work during the summer to get them through winter.

But many other kinds of workers who have lost their jobs are also looking for a means to survive.
