Indonesia protests: Burials of COVID-19 victims raise fears

Worries over COVID-19 burials spark protests in Indonesia but UN health agency says bodies of COVID-19 patients generally not infectious.

Disputes over the handling of COVID-19 victims’ bodies and the location of their graves has sparked protests in parts of Indonesia.

Many are concerned that the burials could spread the virus in their communities, despite reassurances from medical officials.
