Volunteers step in to fill health system gaps in Sudan

With no treatment or vaccine for coronavirus, volunteers say they will continue to provide the services they can to fight the disease.

Healthcare workers in Sudan are scrambling to prevent the virus from taking hold there.

So far, three cases have been recorded.

The country’s transitional government has warned that the health system will not be able to handle the spread of the disease.
