Libya conflict: Government forces stop Haftar from taking Misrata

Mourning their dead in the northwestern Libyan city, forces allied to the government in Tripoli pledge to keep fighting Haftar’s men.

Government troops are making further advances into the territory controlled by renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar and have halted an operation by his forces to take the northwestern city of Misrata.
