Hurricane Dorian edges towards US east coast after Bahamas
After wrecking Bahamas, east coast residents told to prepare and leave home.
Hurricane Dorian is slowly moving closer to the United States after crushing much of the Bahamas.
It’s left a humanitarian crisis in its wake, with a major rescue and search effort under way.
US authorities have told residents on the east coast to be prepared for a similar scenario.
Al Jazeera’s Andy Gallacher reports from Florida where the hurricane is already causing strong gusts of wind.
