
Hong Kong protests: Carrie Lam holds open dialogue with people
The city administration announces that it will not take arrested protesters to a controversial detention centre near the border with mainland China.
With the Hong Kong protests now in their 16th week, the city’s leader has opened talks with the public for the first time.
For many involved in the so-called “dialogue session”, it was an opportunity to voice their anger at the government.
