US abortion laws: Maine expands access to abortion
Since 2011, there has been a surge in laws that restrict abortion access in many states, setting up a possible Supreme Court battle that could redefine abortion rights nationwide.
It is now easier for women to get an abortion in the state of Maine after a new law was put in place that pushes back at recent efforts to restrict access to the procedure across the United States.
