Chad unrest: Weapons seized and dozens arrested

Just this week, 11 people were killed in fighting in a dispute between herders and farmers over trampled crops in southern Chad.

Security forces in Chad have launched raids in two eastern provinces, as part of emergency measures imposed by the government.

They are trying to end fighting between farmers and herders, which has killed dozens of people this month alone.
