Sudan activists call for million-man march on Thursday

Sudanese protesters demand justice for the rising number of protesters being killed while campaigning for change.

Protest leaders in Sudan have called for a million-man march on Thursday to demand justice for the killing of at least six demonstrators earlier in the week.

Rallies have been taking place since security forces opened fire on a student protest in North Kordofan on Monday.

The security forces’ attacks complicate negotiations on a deal to share power between the opposition and the ruling military council.
