No end to Qatar blockade after Gulf Cooperation Council talks

Division continues in the Gulf as the blockade of Qatar enters its third year.

It has been two years since Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain initiated a blockade on Qatar, claiming Doha was a supporter of so-called “terrorism”.

And despite Qatar’s face-to-face meetings with the Saudis last week, the gulf between the two sides appears wider than ever.
