Sudan protesters vow to continue sit-in during Ramadan

The demonstrators say they will keep their revolution alive by providing more meals for people to break their fasts during the holy month.

Thousands of Sudanese protesters are preparing to fast during the month of Ramadan in front of the army headquarters.

They say they will continue their sit-in until the military council which ousted President Omar al-Bashir hands over power to a civilian government.

Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan reports from the capital Khartoum.
