
Thailand prepares to formally crown King Maha Vajiralongkorn
A few days ago, the king announced a surprise wedding with the deputy head of his personal security force.
Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn will formally be crowned this weekend, nearly two and a half years after he ascended to the throne.
He became the constitutional monarch after his father died, ending a 70-year reign.
