It’s the oldest race of its kind in the world. A run up the stairs to the top of the Empire State building in New York City in the United States draws competitors from around the world.
But with 86 flights of stairs to beat, it’s more than just a fight against gravity.
Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo was there on Tuesday for the race and has this report.
