Benin elections: Opposition excluded, urges protests
Why this year’s election in Benin has taken an interesting turn as voters prepare to head to the polls on Sunday.
Voting is due in the West African country of Benin and the election is controversial.
There are only two parties on the ballot, and both are loyal to the president.
That is because opposition parties failed to meet the necessary requirements to field candidates.
