Release of pro-Modi film delayed over Indian election concerns

Election Commission delays release of Bollywood film that paints Prime Minister Narendra Modi in glowing light.

India’s Election Commission has put back the screening of a biography of India’s current prime minister.

PM Narendra Modi was due to come out before the first phase of India’s general election.

But both the commission and many in the country are concerned that films with a political bent could be used to unduly influence the poll results.
