
Karachi residents struggle as rubbish accumulates
The rapid growth of new housing and industrial estates have waste expected to rise to 18,000 tonnes a day by 2020.
Rising piles of rubbish in Pakistan‘s largest city are causing increasing alarm.
The government has claimed to have a plan to handle the trash and sewage, but officials in cities across Pakistan have said they are unable to cope with increasing waste.
