
Iraqi art revival: Artists see surge in new activity

It has been more than a year since the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) was declared defeated in Iraq but many are still trying to get back to normal life.
In Baghdad, a revival of the arts is inspiring a new generation of Iraqi artists – hoping to turn the page on a dark chapter in their country’s history.
