Syrian artists use music and comedy to promote idea of freedom

Eight years ago, many Syrians had no idea that their creativity would be used to hide their pain.

After nearly eight years of war, much of Syria‘s creative talent has been scattered abroad.

Among these Syrian artists, now living in neighbouring countries, are some who have turned to the creative arts to continue the message of change and resistance.

In some cases, they have used music, while others have turned to the performing arts.

Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid met one such group near the Syrian border with Turkey.
