Struggling to walk: war-wounded Syrian children bullied
Demand for artificial limbs remains high in Syria, despite the lull in fighting in the eight-year war.
Hundreds of thousands lost their arms, legs, or both during the war – especially during the bombardment of opposition-held areas.
Many of those maimed are children. These children are growing out of their prosthetics and face bullying at school.
