UK election: PM absent from event in his constituency

Opposition Labour Party believes there is a chance of unseating Johnson in his constituency.

Boris Johnson, the UK’s prime minister, was nowhere to be seen at a campaign event in his own constituency on Thursday night.

Many who attended the event were disappointed that the main debater had not appeared.
