DR Congo protests: At least 5 people killed

People have also been protesting in North Kivu’s provincial capital Goma, they say the security situation in Beni is not acceptable.

At least five people have been killed in protests in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Residents in the city of Beni accuse the United Nations peacekeeping force, MONUSCO, of failing to protect them against a notorious armed group.
