Christmas in Bethlehem: Tourists gather in the city

Thousands flock to Bethlehem to celebrate in where they believe Jesus was born.

Christian pilgrims and tourists from around the world are marking Christmas in the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, where many believe Jesus was born.

2019 has been one of the city’s busiest years, with an estimated 1.9 million tourists making the trip.
