Lebanon protests over lack of electricity

Proper power supply, which has been lacking since 1975, is one of the demands of the country’s anti-government demonstrators.

Protesters in Lebanon have been on the streets for almost a month.

Among their long list of demands is adequate electricity supply.

Consecutive governments have failed to provide people with 24-hour electricity since 1975.
