Trump’s al-Baghdadi announcement shows how he got facts wrong
US President Donald Trump on Sunday confirmed the death of ISIL Chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi during a news conference at the White House, Al Jazeera fact-checked it.
Fact-checkers are constantly calling out President Donald Trump for statements that are misleading, or often, outright lies.
While in office, Trump has made a lot of false or misleading claims – according to The Washington Post he has made more than 13,000 of them since he took office almost three years ago.
