Pakistan’s opposition joins hands, seeks PM Khan’s resignation

Pressure mounts on Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan to step down as ‘Long March’ against him gains momentum.

Security is being stepped up in Pakistan for what is being billed as the “Long March”.

Opposition parties are due to start the march in Karachi on Sunday and walk to the capital, Islamabad.

Accusing Prime Minister Imran Khan of economic mismanagement, they are demanding his resignation.

The government says it is trying to appease the opposition.
