
Social security tax: Palestinians protest new law
The Palestinian Authority has put its planned social security tax on hold after months of protests.
President Mahmoud Abbas‘s Fatah party has frozen the implementation of the Social Security Act – pending cabinet confirmation.
This comes as part of an announcement from Abbas’s Fatah party that it wants to set up a new government.
