Syrians celebrate Eid amid bombing

Since the collapse of a short-lived ceasefire last week, the killing of civilians has continued.

People in northern Syria are celebrating the Eid festival against a backdrop of increasing violence.

Government forces have been bombarding targets in northern Hama and southern Idlib since last week’s short-lived ceasefire.

It is in stark contrast to festivities for Syrian refugees living in security in southern Turkey.

But as Al Jazeera’s Neave Barker reports, many still want to return permanently to their homeland.
