Reggae Girlz: Jamaica ready for Women’s Football World Cup

Cedella Marley, daughter of reggae legend Bob Marley, stepped in, raised money, raised awareness, and kickstarted a proper team.

The Women’s Football World Cup starts in France on Friday and Al Jazeera’s sports correspondent Lee Wellings has been inside Jamaica‘s training camp.

Known as the Reggae Girlz, they are the first Caribbean country to qualify for the tournament, with a little help from the daughter of Bob Marley.
