Pakistan: Prolonged drought threatens communities in Thar Desert

The Thar has seen years of below-average crop production and losses of cattle, exacerbating the already dire food insecurity and malnutrition in the area.

Four years of drought is driving villagers from a desert region of Pakistan.

Cattle are dying because of the lack of grass for grazing.
