Argentina economy falling despite huge IMF support

Reports show poverty risen to 32 percent from 26 percent and the 45 percent inflation rate is the main reason why.

Argentina‘s economy is continuing to sink, inflation keeps rising, and the currency is again losing value. Latest government reports show poverty has risen to 32 percent from around 26 percent the previous year and the 45 percent inflation rate is the main reason for that.

This comes despite the country receiving one of the largest IMF financial support programmes that any country ever has.
