Anxious wait for election results in Thailand

Political parties trade accusations of voter discrepancy and intimidation in Thailand as wait begins.

With more than a month to go before official election results are announced in Thailand, opposition groups are trying to impeach the military-backed Election Commission for what they say are rigged polls.

Opposition party Pheu Thai says it has enough seats to form a coalition government and unseat the military government, which staged a coup in 2014.

But the military government isn’t likely to give in without a fight.
