West Bank: Muslims saying access to holy sites restricted

In occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, many Muslim worshippers find Israeli security presence intimidating.

Twenty-five years ago, a Jewish settler killed 29 Palestinians as they worshipped at the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron.

It’s the burial place of Abraham and the only site in the world shared by Jews and Muslims.

Since the shooting, Muslims say it’s been more difficult to worship freely at holy sites.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports from occupied East Jerusalem.
