Colin Kaepernick’s Nike campaign faces opposition
Controversial campaign featuring former NFL quarterback, who knelt several times during the US national anthem to protest against racial injustice, is dividing NFL fans.
Some people have taken to social media, posting videos of them burning Nike trainers and clothing, to protest former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick being the face of the brand’s new advertising campaign.
Kaepernick courted controversy when he refused to stand during the US national anthem, choosing to kneel instead in protest against racial injustice and police brutality.
