Afghanistan’s pioneering women get behind the wheel to drive through stigma.

While Afghanistan is making some progress on women’s rights, some change is taking longer.

Only a tiny percentage of licenced drivers are women, and many of them often face abuse and threats from men who see a woman behind the wheel as an affront to Afghan culture.
