‘Brazil’s Trump’ leads polls ahead of vote after stabbing

Far-right Bolsonaro leads the polls ahead of the election, but support for opposition candidate Haddad has also risen.

Brazil’s far-right presidential candidate is leading the polls ahead of next month’s election.

Jair Bolsonaro is still in hospital after being stabbed during a campaign rally.

But support for the opposition candidate Fernando Haddad has risen sharply and he’s now in second place.
