South Africa has one of the highest rates of sexual violence in the world, causing women to turn to social media to protect themselves and seek justice.

In South Africa, rates of sexual violence and violence against women are among the highest recorded in the world, and the numbers of perpetrators prosecuted are much lower.

Some women in South Africa are now using social media to seek justice.
