
Bodies of US soldiers killed during Korean War returning home
The remains of 50 US soldiers are just a few of the 5,300 estimated to still be in North Korea, but improving relations are giving rise to hopes that those bodies can be recovered.
The remains of more than 50 US soldiers who died during the Korean War six decades ago are heading home. There was a full-honours ceremony at a South Korean airbase before they were taken on a flight to Hawaii.
Experts say the identification process could take anywhere from days to years.
