Gaza resident: I am very worried about a future war

Ceasefire between Hamas and Israel is holding following worst escalation of violence since 2014 war on Gaza, but civilians in Palestinian enclave remain fearful.

Israel says it will reopen its only goods crossing with the blockaded Gaza Strip on Tuesday if calm holds following a ceasefire.

But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists the military is prepared for more intense strikes if violence flares up again.

Meanwhile, UN officials are warning that serious fuel shortages are affecting hospitals, water and sanitation facilities.
