
Lebanon economy: Subsidised housing loans suspended
Protesters gathered in Downtown Beirut in condemnation of the government’s failure to provide basic services
Lebanon‘s central bank, Banque du Liban, has suspended loans for subsidised housing, saying it simply does not have enough money.
The economy is flatlining and the failure to form a new government is adding to the problem.
