Non-profit Global Witness says Democratic Republic of Congo’s biggest timber company, Norsudtimber, is illegally harvesting trees at nearly 90 percent of its sites with impunity.

Demand for wood in Europe is causing a massive rainforest in Africa to shrink at an alarming rate.

Environmental campaigners are accusing the largest timber company in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) of illegally cutting down millions of trees.
