Nicaragua peace talks put on hold amid violence

Ongoing confrontations between anti-government protesters and paramilitary groups has claimed more lives in the city Masaya.

There have been more deaths in Nicaragua as armed forces backed by the government try to regain control of the city of Masaya.

Peace talks between the government and the opposition have been put on hold as violence continues to shake the central American nation.
