
Ireland cricket team to play first test match
Ireland has played cricket since the 18th century, but for the first time, they will field a team in a test match, considered the highest standard of the game.
Later this week, Ireland will finally play its first ever test cricket match, after pushing to be part of the sport’s elite game for decades.
Pakistan are their opponents for the historic fixture in Dublin.
And officials are already talking about a possible game against England.
