
Windrush protesters march against deportation policy
Members of the Windrush generation called for the end of the ‘hostile environment’ deportation policy at a rally outside Downing Street.
People from the Caribbean who immigrated to Britain in the post-war period have marched in London.
They were protesting over a government policy which threatened their right to live in the UK.
Members of the so-called Windrush generation took their protest directly to Prime Minister Theresa May in London.
