
Brazil oil workers walk out as truckers’ strike eases
Protest takes place against the backdrop of a nine-day strike by truckers that has blocked roads and led to shortages of food, fuel and medical supplies across Brazil.
Brazilian oil workers have walked off the job for 72-hours, just as a crippling nationwide truck drivers’ strike is coming to an end.
Employees stopped work on Wednesday, despite the country’s highest labour court declaring the strike illegal.
