DR Congo: Ebola vaccinations under way to contain deadly outbreak
The current outbreak was declared nearly three weeks ago, but the alarm was raised last week when the first case was confirmed in Mbandaka, a busy transport hub by the River Congo.
A major vaccination campaign is under way in the Democratic Republic of Congo where more cases of infection from the Ebola virus have been discovered.
Up to 10 people have died and 35 cases have been confirmed.
At least 11,000 people died in a series of outbreaks across West Africa four years ago.
Al Jazeera’s Nadim Baba reports.
